Not often does a dog like Paco come along. Large
and very powerful, he combines exceptional working ability with superior
bloodlines and body structure. As one of the last remaining sons of the
legendary Dutch producer, Arras Derks,
Paco displays extreme hardness and fight drive in his bitework,
and has very high prey, hunt, and retrieve drives. On his mother’s
side Paco is the grandson of the famous Berry Hogeling who was the 1985
PH1 and 1989 Objectguard National Champion. A testament to his heritage and love for work
is Paco’s near perfect PH1 score of 438 points which easily placed him
in the top 10% of the KNPV dogs titled in 1999.
In addition to Paco's impressive KNPV
accomplishments, he has recently been chosen as one of the foundation
dogs for the Department of Defense breeding program. Hundreds of dogs
were subjected to extremely rigorous evaluations which included
intricate health screens, demanding bitework scenarios, and challenging
search problems. Many applied, but only a handful were selected. Seven
Pines is extremely proud that Paco is now able to contribute to the
production of Military Working Dogs for the foreseeable future.
He is deep red in color, 28 inches tall, and weighs a muscular 95
pounds. A proven producer, he is available for stud to approved
females, CB/VC required.
